Associate Justice of the Trial Division of Palau Supreme Court Mr. Oldiais Ngiraikelau was sworn in as Chief Justice of the Palau Supreme Court on August 19th, 2020, He was sworn into the position after the retirement of the former Chief Justice Mr. Arthur Ngiraklsong who served as Chief Justice for 28 years.
Oldiais Ngiraikelau was sworn in by President Tommy Remengesau Jr., having Mr. Ngiraikelau as the third chief justice since the inception of the constitutional government in 1981.
